About the Author:
Len Curreri is a distinguished aviator with over sixty years and 21,000 flying hours of experience in over 100 different types of jets, single and multi-engine land and seaplanes, sport and glider aircraft. A former United States Navy Aviation Officer who proudly served as a member of Attack Squadron 146, the world-famous Blue Diamonds, during the Gulf of Tonkin incident. Along with managing the fleet of Air Margaritaville jets, airplanes, and seaplanes, Len was responsible for training Mr. Buffett on his FalconJet 50 and 900. Curreri has dedicated his life to the advancement of aeronautical knowledge and the promotion of global aviation safety standards for both land and seaplanes. He is an FAA-licensed ATP (Air Transport Pilot) with 16 original type ratings, a CFII (Certified Flight Instructor Instrument), A&P (Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic), and has written several white papers, notably on important subjects like Pilot Performance and ETOPS (Extended Twin-Engine Operations Performance Standards) for Oceanic sub and supersonic aircraft.
He resides in Scituate, MA, and Parkland, FL with his wife of over 54 years, Elli.
