When will my order ship?- Most orders will ship within 5-7 business days. - Preordered titles will be shipped on or within 2-3 business days of their on-sale date . - Backordered titles will be shipped as soon as they become available. If a backordered title is not available within 90 days, that portion of your order will be canceled, and you will not be charged for the item. Please note: Business days for order processing are from Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.

Why did I receive a book from Library Tales Publishing in Amazon or Walmart packaging?At Library Tales Publishing, we ensure that our books reach you in the most efficient and timely manner possible. To achieve this, we utilize multiple distribution channels, including shipping directly from our Ingram wholesalers or our Amazon warehouses. As a result, you may occasionally receive packages with Amazon, Walmart, or other branding, which is simply part of our streamlined shipping process. Rest assured that the content of the package remains the same, and it is indeed the book you ordered from Library Tales Publishing. How can I track my order?Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation via email. If you have chosen UPS Ground or any expedited service, the email will provide you with a tracking number and a link to the shipper's website. When will my pre-order ship?For titles with a future on-sale date, pre-orders will be shipped once the title becomes available for sale. Your order will be charged to your card and shipped within 3 business days of the posted on-sale date. Rest assured, you will receive a shipping confirmation email as soon as the pre-ordered title is on its way to you.

Can I make changes or cancel my order after it has been submitted?Yes, you can cancel your order, but it's essential to contact our Customer Service team promptly. To initiate a cancellation, please send an email to office@librarytales.com and include your order number. In case you don't have the order number handy, kindly provide us with the method of payment used, the book title, the author's name, and your complete shipping address for the order. Please note that if an item is already in the processing stage or has been shipped, we may not be able to cancel your order. Therefore, we recommend reaching out to us as soon as possible to increase the likelihood of a successful cancellation.

How do I purchase eBooks or mp3 downloads?We do not sell digital content directly through our website. However, you can find links to eBook and audio retailers on each book's individual detail page. Simply visit the book's page, and you will find convenient links to the retailers where you can purchase our books in digital formats.

Can I ship to an address outside the United States?Currently, we do not offer the option to place orders for delivery outside of the United States on our website. However, we are constantly evaluating our services, and this option may become available in the future. We encourage you to check back at a later date to see if international shipping has been introduced. Thank you for your understanding.

What is your returns policy and when can I expect credit for a return?You may return items purchased directly from Library Tales Publishing website within 30 days of the original purchase. Once the 30-day period has passed, we will not accept returns. Items may be returned under the following conditions: Return timeline - 30 days. Items must be new, unopened, and include all original components. Return shipments must include a copy of the original packing slip. Return shipments must be sent using traceable means, such as USPS Priority Mail Service or UPS Ground Service, within 30 days of the shipment date on the packing slip. Please send returns that meet the above conditions to the following address: Returns Center Library Tales Publishing 180 Riverside Blvd #9A New York, NY, 10069 Refunds will be issued only for new books ordered directly from Library Tales Publishing and returned in their original condition. The refund will cover the value of the items ordered and any applicable sales taxes; however, the original order shipping and handling charges, as well as return freight charges, will not be refunded. For your reference, we recommend keeping a copy of the tracking number for your return. Upon receiving the returned item(s) and confirming that they meet the specified conditions, a refund will be processed to the card used for the order within 4-6 weeks.

Can I place an order for a prison inmate?Yes, Library Tales Publushing does offer shipping to prisons and detention centers. Before placing your order, please ensure that you review the destination facility's local requirements for inmate mail. Please includes the complete recipient name and delivery address as required by the facility, with necessary abbreviations. If the facility refuses an order for any reason, it will be automatically returned to us. In such cases, we will issue a credit to the card used on the order for the value of the book(s) and applicable sales tax within 4-6 weeks of receiving the return. Please note that shipping and handling charges will not be refunded for returned orders. What are my shipping options and when can I expect delivery?We currently offer the following shipping options, along with their average delivery times: UPS Ground – 7-10 business days* USPS Priority Mail Service – 2-9 business days* (please note that this option does not include online tracking) Due to current conditions, most orders will be shipped within 5-7 business days. However, we regret to inform you that rush shipments are not available at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your patience. *Business days refer to the carrier’s regular operations schedule. For UPS, this typically includes Monday to Friday, excluding select holidays. For USPS Priority Mail Service, this usually covers Monday to Saturday, excluding federal holidays.

How do I order books for my school or library with a purchase order?To place an order by purchase order for your school or library, you will need to have an account with Library Tales Publishing. If you already have an account, simply log in using your customer number. If you don't have an existing account, please contact our New Account department at accounts@librarytales.com and request an application to set up an account. Additionally, for retail print and audio productions, you may explore ordering from specialty distributors catering to the educational market, our books are distributed through Ingram and are available on iPage.

Where can I find an author's website?If the author has a personal website, you can easily access it by visiting the author's detail page. To find the author's detail page, you have two simple options: Use the search toolbar: Enter the author's name in the search toolbar, and it will lead you directly to the author's dedicated page, where you can explore more about their works and background. From any book detail page: While browsing through any book detail page written by the author, you can click on the author's name, which will instantly redirect you to their detail page, offering a comprehensive overview of their published works and additional information. Discover more about your favorite authors and delve into their literary world by exploring their dedicated detail pages.

Why can't I find a particular title or author?Our website specifically features books and authors that are presently published by Library Tales Publishing and readily available for order, including backorders and preorders. However, we do not provide online catalog information for out-of-print titles or works published by other LTP entities.

Do I need an agent to submit to Library Tales Publishing?Library Tales Publishing (LTP) welcomes both agented and unagented submissions. While we value agented submissions, they are not a requirement.

Can I submit a manuscript published by other publishers?No, LTP does not consider re-releases of previously published works.

Do you currently offer "self publishing" services?No, LTP is a traditional publisher and does not offer self-publishing services.

How long will I have to wait for a response after submitting a manuscript?Once we receive your submission, our response time typically ranges from 2-3 months.

What are your terms of contract?Our contract terms require exclusive publishing rights, covering digital, print, and audio formats. The contract details are fully negotiable and will be provided for your review when we extend an offer for your book. Additionally, we may request a two-year film option for selected titles.

How soon after acceptance will my book be released?Upon acceptance, books can be released within 1 to 2 years after being contracted.

What about marketing, promotions, and distribution for my book?LTP employs comprehensive marketing strategies, including online and offline advertising, book reviews in various media, book signings, and participation in conferences and book fairs. We offer our authors opportunities to connect with readers, maintain an online presence, and promote their books. Distribution channels include various booksellers, independent bookstores, gift shops, major online platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, Target, and Barnes & Noble, as well as large, small, and medium bookstores.

How much does it cost to get published with Library Tales Publishing?We never charge a fee for publishing or marketing an author's work.

How do I apply for dramatic performance rights?To apply for dramatic performance rights, including requests for live theater, film, television, or radio broadcast, you must contact us directly via email at business@librarytales.com. Please include the following information in your request: Book title and name of author ISBN Your producer or company. Title & author of your production if different from the title/author of our publication. Number and dates of performances. Address and seating capacity of the performance venue. Ticket prices. If this is a reuse, please provide the contract number of your previous grant. Your complete contact information, including a mailing and e-mail address.
